Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Our classes are specifically designed for pregnancy to prepare the body and mind of mothers-to-be.  Highly recommended by midwives, yoga keeps the body supple without straining, boosts energy, relieves stress and anxiety, and promotes restful sleep.  The yoga practice is very sensitive and practical, and geared towards dealing with issues such as pelvic alignment, optimal foetal positioning and alleviating common problems such as constipation, heart burn and back ache.  We focus on pelvic floor awareness, breathing techniques for relaxation and visualisation to develop the bond with the unborn baby.  The classes also explore positions for labour and giving birth, breathing and relaxation techniques in preparation for childbirth.

Our aim is to practice yoga with all the benefits that brings and to empower women with information, techniques and the sense that they are perfectly designed and capable of giving birth and being a mother. These classes are a place where women can relax, meet other local women and share their experiences.

Classes cost $18, or $75 for a five class pass and are term time only.
